A St. Paul article is focused on presentation. The information you provide will be used to make the presentation unique to the recipient and the article. By default, if you provide a name and surname for engraving, the box will feature a plaque with the family crest of the provided surname. This is custom-designed in the atelier, so there's no need for you to provide anything. The gold pillars of the box are also custom-designed based on the information you provide. I, the customer, understand that this is a handmade product, and that slight differences will always occur. I acknowledge that wood and resin exhibit unique patterns, and no two items will be identical. I am aware that this item will be crafted by a single individual, and exclusivity requires some time to complete (10-12 days). I understand that, by placing this order, the artisan will use all provided information to create something as beautiful as possible. Additionally, I recognize that artists cannot work under pressure, and I will not misuse the privilege of having direct contact with the artist. If your order has a deadline, please make a note above, and the artists will make artistic sacrifices if necessary.
Since we are dealing with handmade art, it can sometimes be costly. My articles are often ordered as gifts, which should be submitted as soon as possible to start manufacturing. However, customers don't always have the full amount available upfront, therefore, I allow for a 50% deposit to be made to start manufacturing. You will find this option in the checkout page.

Your crochet set comprises of two exquisitely designed holders. The first is perfect for screw-in hooks, accommodating sizes ranging from 3 to 7. The second is equipped with a versatile collet holding system to securely hold even more sizes. The body of the hook holders is a true work of art.

It features a unique blend of resin, silver leafing, pink alcohol ink, and dark pink mica powder, resulting in an elegant and one-of-a-kind aesthetic. What makes this set truly exceptional is its fully bespoke nature. Every component, from the 3D-modeled and printed corners of the box to the custom holders for the collets and tags, has been designed exclusively for your order. The hinged collet holder, allowing for easy access, is a detail I take particular pride in.

Additionally, I’ve included resting clips for both holders—an extra touch to enhance their functionality. The tag holder came out beautifully, serving as a safe haven for those nifty little markers. I embellished the base with two budding Protea flowers, complementing the South African arts background.

Your set also features a beautifully modeled container for the main hooks. Finished in antique gold and adorned with radiant Swarovski crystals (001-BLSH-XIRIUS), it adds a touch of sparkle and sophistication. One of the highlights of this set is the practicality of the collet pen. Crafted from solid brass, this timeless tool is unplated, allowing it to develop a charming patina over time while still being polishable.

I’ve engraved the end cap of the collet pen and the clip of the screw-in crochet pen with delicate white etching—an understated yet elegant detail. For your convenience, I’ve included two pen refills that work beautifully with the No. 4 collet, as well as three additional smaller collets for future versatility. If you’re new to collet pens, they’re simple and delightful to use: unscrew the cap, insert the appropriate collet, and gently secure the item you need to hold by screwing the cap down firmly.

It has been an absolute privilege to bring this vision to life for you. I hope this set not only serves as a practical tool but also brings beauty and joy to your craft. Yes, we manufacture from 3 Ring Road, RoadQue Complex, South Africa, George, Western Cape.

Okay I think I’m going to place an order, how long will it take?
In most situations, orders are manufactured within 3-5 days.

And courier? Delivery?
We use Courier Guy, so you will receive your order within ~1-2 business days (After Shipping).

What about International delivery?
We use Air Mail, EMS, Aramex or DHL for international orders, depending on where the customer is located.

What material is the shiny parts?
Solid Steel, Plated in your preferred metal.

Will I be left in the dark?

How did ‘St. Paul’ come about?
-My dad’s name is Paul. When he was a kid, his father (A Pastor) used to tease him, calling him St. Paul.

My dad left his job as an IT/Marketing specialist, given horrid circumstances at the workplace. Prior to leaving his job, he was making pens as a hobby. He decided to launch a personal brand called, ‘St. Paul’, in 2015, and has been growing ever since.

I mentioned he left his job. This was in 2018, when we packed our things and moved from Bloemfontein down to George, Western Cape, to pursue a new life.

As of now, 9 January 2021, we are still in George, and building up the St. Paul Brand daily.
